Soldier Pond Off-grid Solar Project

This will be the second off-grid system that that we have installed. If all goes according to plan, we should have the system installed by mid-2009. The system that we plan to install includes:
  • 12 - Trojan L16HC (395 A/H ea)
  • 8 - Kyocera KD135 solar panels
  • Outback Flexware 500 power center

    • - two 3,500 watt inverters
    - Breaker box
    - 250 amp Inverter breaker
    - Two 30 amp breakers for solar input
    - One 80 amp charge control breaker
    - Two 15 or 20 amp DC load breakers
    - Remote mount TriMetric meter
  • Yamaha EF-4300 generator
